If you’re at all like me, you have a long list of people you WANT to pray for, but you often only get through a few people each prayer time. So you keep praying for the same people over and over again (great for them!) but the people in the middle or bottom of your list get neglected. Or maybe you don’t have a list at all (sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t) and you’re praying from memory or routine.
I decided recently that I wanted to get ultra organized with my prayer list – and hopefully help you out, too. I know that prayer is important – it’s how we petition the Almighty God with our requests. And the sheer fact that He hears us, and wants to hear from us, is incredible.
If we really knew and understood just how incredible this is, we would be praying all of the time. Which is probably why Paul tells us to pray…all of the time.
So here are some of my favorite prayer Bible verses and quotes to get us inspired to pray! At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a downloadable file to organize your prayer list as well as four memory verse cards on prayer. If you want to read a devotional on prayer, click here.
