favorite quotes on prayer

We all know that prayer is important – it’s how we petition the Almighty God with our requests. And the sheer fact that He hears us, and wants to hear from us, is incredible.

If we really knew and understood just how incredible this is, we would be praying all of the time. Which is probably why Paul tells us to pray…all of the time.

So here are some of my favorite prayer Bible verses and quotes to get us inspired to pray! At the bottom of this post, you’ll find printable four memory verse cards on prayer. If you want to read a devotional on prayer, click here.

Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints.
